AI Analytics Enhance eSkilled’s RTO Management Platform in New Update

Must read

In a significant development for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) in Australia, eSkilled has unveiled its new RTO Analytics & AI Reporting feature. This advanced analytics tool is integrated into the company’s student and learning management platform and aims to provide RTO personnel with quick access to critical operational data. By covering areas such as enrolments, learner progress, compliance, finance, attendance, and organisational performance, the system seeks to reduce the dependency on spreadsheets, manual data exports, and specialised reporting expertise.

The new reporting functionality encompasses 29 reportable entities and over 650 reportable fields, which include data related to students, enrolments, trainers, finance, attendance, quality management, risk management, continuous improvement, and AVETMISS data. Users can effortlessly create reports through a straightforward point-and-click interface or leverage natural-language prompts to specify their requirements. The AI component of the system is capable of identifying pertinent data, applying necessary filters, generating visualisations, and configuring the desired reports.

Examples of inquiries the system can handle include identifying trainers with credentials nearing expiration, locating unpaid invoices exceeding 30 days, or comparing withdrawal rates across different qualifications. eSkilled’s CEO, Scott Rogers, emphasized that this feature is designed to make operational data more accessible to RTO staff without necessitating advanced reporting or database knowledge.

The platform also introduces an AI Chat with Your Data feature, enabling staff to pose questions about operational data using natural language. The responses, derived from live data within the organisation’s student management system, can explore aspects like attendance, completion rates, financial performance, compliance activities, and quality management. Additionally, the platform offers role-specific dashboards and reporting tools tailored for executives, RTO managers, training coordinators, compliance teams, finance staff, trainers, and administrators. Key features include KPI dashboards, scheduled reports, AVETMISS data-quality monitoring, trainer credential tracking, and comprehensive organisation-wide reporting.

Security and access controls are paramount in the new system. The analytics and AI features are designed to function within existing user permissions, ensuring that information access is limited according to each staff member’s role. AI queries utilise sanitised and permission-controlled data, with audit logging in place to record reporting and AI activity. These measures are intended to support organisational governance and meet regulatory requirements. The RTO Analytics & AI Reporting tool is set to be available in eSkilled’s SMS & LMS platforms by August 2026.
